We’re not strict about the pockets, the goal is only to have a physical Bible with you at all times. Some of us carry our Bibles in nifty holsters and bags.

Signing up for the challenge is completely free! And it comes with your very own Pocket Bible.
That said, we’re looking for people to donate and pay the mission forward!

Bible apps all have one HUGE downfall: they are on your phone. That means there’s a constant potential for distracting notifications and countless apps and people all begging for your attention. That said it can be a helpful tool but not for meditating on the Holy Word of God. It’s time to be radical!

Yes, you can totally use a different physical Bible if you would like to. The only stipulation is that it must be the entire Bible, all 66 books!

Every week we’ll send you an optional mini challenge like “Get a group of friends together and read through one of the gospels an evening this week” or “Pray for 15 minutes everyday this week” or “Don’t touch your phone for a full 24 hours this week”

The Story
Two years ago I had a radical encounter with God that set me on a journey to find any way to connect with Him more. Pretty soon I found a Gideon’s New Testament and Psalms and Proverbs that I started to carry around, but quickly I was like “I want to have the whole Bible with me all the time!” So I started looking around to see what I could find, but I couldn’t find just what I was looking for. About that time two of my close friends got these slick new ESV pocket Bibles but they didn’t get me one! I felt left out and was like, man I’m gonna buy ten of them and whoever wants one I’ll just give them one of mine.
Word got around pretty quickly that I was giving away pocket Bibles and just like that they were all gone! I decided then that I didn’t just wanna give away pocket Bibles for free, there had to be some commitment, so from then on, I made everyone agree that they could have a Bible for free if they would carry it around with them everywhere that they went. My second batch of Bibles didn’t even last one night! I realized then that, man, there’s a real hunger for the Word of God, but people just need practical ways to facilitate it and actually put feet on it.
I got more Bibles, but I was like this could become something bigger than just me handing out Bibles, maybe we could start a movement of people carrying God’s Word into every situation in life! This platform is the beginning stages of that dream and God willing He will use this to empower and equip a new generation of zealous disciples!
